Cooper County Republicans are comprised of two organizations. The Cooper County Republican Central Committee and the Cooper County Republican Club. Descriptions of each organization and a list of the organizations Officers follows.
COOPER COUNTY REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE

The Cooper County Republican Central Committee is the officially sanctioned body representing the party on the local (township by township) basis. Members of the committee are elected by the Republican voters in Cooper County, Missouri. Each township is allotted one man and one woman as a representative on the county committee who must follow filing requirements. Those elected become the organizational head of the Cooper County Republican Party. The State Republican Party is comprised of the Republican Central Committees in 114 counties of Missouri. Among the responsibilities of the committee is to serve as the Party’s voice between conventions. The committee is also responsible to fill office vacancies. The committee votes on candidate in special elections or recommends a candidate to the Govenor where there is no special election.
