FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Boonville –Nancy Fisher, long-time resident of Cooper County, has announced her candidacy for the office of Cooper County Circuit Clerk and Ex-officio Recorder of Deeds. Citizens of Cooper County deserve a Circuit Clerk and Ex- officio Recorder of Deeds that will work for the citizens of the county. Nancy has the experience, job qualifications, dedication, and expertise to carry out the duties of this position. She is committed to being in public office and is accustomed to providing courteous and efficient service to all. Nancy has been the Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk for Cooper County for the past three years and has a total of ten consecutive years experience in the same office. She has received continual training during that period of time to assure she has the knowledge and skills to serve the citizens of Cooper County. As Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk, Nancy directly supervises a staff of seven deputy clerks. Collectively, they are responsible for the processing of all cases filed in the Circuit Court. Having spent three years as Deputy Recorder, she is the only candidate that has had extensive training in both the Circuit Clerk AND Recorder of Deed’s office. Nancy has the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill the duties of both offices the first day as the Circuit Clerk and Ex-officio Recorder of Deeds. Nancy Fisher is uniquely qualified to assume this position and looks forward to getting to know more of the citizens of Cooper County as her campaign progresses.
